Terms of service
Acceptance
Cachephoto Magazine (cachephoto.com, the "Site") is operated by Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos INDIE AC ("INDIE", "we"). By using the Site, creating an account or downloading material, you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, don't use the Site — it's that simple. Questions: daniel@indie.com.mx.
Editorial content
The articles, photographs, videos and other editorial content on the Site belong to INDIE, its authors or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may read it, share links and quote short excerpts with credit and a link to the original piece. You may not republish full content, or use it commercially, without our written permission.
Trademarks mentioned (Sony, Aputure, DJI and others) belong to their owners. Whenever a commercial relationship with a brand exists, we disclose it in the article — our editorial opinion is not for sale.
Your account
When creating an account (with Google, Facebook or your email) you agree to provide truthful information and to protect your access. You are responsible for what happens from your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Downloadable material license — read this before using the files
The downloadable material on the Site (RAW and camera clips, LUTs, project files, ebooks and similar, the "Material") is shared so you can learn and evaluate with real files. Downloading the Material grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license, under these terms:
What you CAN do:
- Use it on your own equipment for personal, educational and technical-evaluation purposes: color and grading tests, practice, teaching with it, workflow testing.
- Publish your results (frames, comparisons, videos of your color process) with the credit: "Material: Cachephoto Magazine — Daniel Blanco A.M.C.".
- Include your work with the Material in your personal non-commercial reel, with the same credit.
What you CANNOT do:
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the original files — not even for free. If you want to share it, share the link to the download page, not the file.
- Use it in commercial projects of any kind (ads, client work, stock, templates for sale) without written permission.
- Present it as footage you shot, or claim authorship.
- Use it to train artificial intelligence models or include it in datasets, your own or third parties'.
- Remove metadata, credits or marks from the Material.
Ownership of the Material is not transferred: it remains with INDIE and/or Daniel Blanco A.M.C. If you breach this license it is automatically revoked and you must delete your copies. Use case not listed here? Write to daniel@indie.com.mx — there's usually a way to say yes.
Conduct on the Site
In comments and profiles: no spam, no impersonation, no illegal content or harassment. Mass scraping or automated republication of the Site, and attempts to breach its security, are also not allowed. We may moderate or remove content that violates these rules.
What the Site is not
The magazine's content is informational and editorial: reviews, analysis and opinions grounded in real production experience. It is not professional purchasing, financial or legal advice. Links to third-party sites (including referral links, always disclosed) lead to services we do not control.
Availability and liability
The Site is provided "as is". We do what is reasonable to keep it working and available, but we do not guarantee continuous availability or absence of errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, INDIE shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Site or the Material.
Privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy policy. To delete your data: Delete my data.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page, with its update date visible. Changes apply from the moment they are published.
