Delete my data
On this page you can request the deletion of all personal data that Cachephoto Magazine (operated by Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos INDIE AC) holds about you. This page is public and the process is free.
What data we may hold about you
- Your account (created with Google, Facebook or your email).
- The data we received from Facebook Login through our app "cachephoto publisher" (App ID 1784023275939047): your email and public profile.
- Download form records: name, email, city, country and phone (if you provided it).
- Your comments and public profile on the site.
How to request deletion (steps)
- Send an email to daniel@indie.com.mx with the subject "Delete my data".
- Send it from the email associated with your account (or tell us which email you used, so we can find you).
- Tell us how you signed in: with Facebook, with Google, with an email link, or if you only filled the download form.
- In accordance with Mexico's data protection law (LFPDPPP), we will communicate our response within a maximum of 20 business days.
- If the request proceeds, we will delete your account, your download records, your comments and profile, and all data received from Facebook or Google, within the 15 business days following our response. We will confirm by email when it is done.
We keep no copies of your data after deletion. If any legal obligation required us to retain a specific piece of data, we would tell you in our reply, with the justification and the retention period.
Unlinking the app from your Facebook account
Besides writing to us, you can revoke our app's access directly from your own Facebook:
- In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and websites.
- Find "cachephoto publisher" and select Remove.
That stops Facebook from sharing data with us. To have the data we already received deleted, also complete the steps above.
Your rights
This request corresponds to your right of Cancellation under Mexico's data protection law (LFPDPPP). Details about our data processing and the rest of your ARCO rights are in our Privacy policy.
