The facts

• Higgsfield calculates that a Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p and 8 seconds runs from $2.55 to $5.76 USD, with Higgsfield at the low end and Runway at the high end.
• On four of five platforms, Seedance 2.5 draws more credits than Seedance 2.0: Dreamina goes from 136 to 296, Higgsfield from 36 to 52, OpenArt from 640 to 1,040 and Magnific from 2,240 to 3,520.
• Runway is the exception: in the comparison, it drops from 288 credits on Seedance 2.0 to 240 on Seedance 2.5.

For LATAM, the important number is not the attractive plan price, but the cost of getting it wrong. If a finished 30 second video can take several generations, every failed attempt becomes real budget. For small production companies, an unlimited window may matter more than the newest model; for one-off jobs, exploring at 480p and moving to 720p only at the end makes more sense.

How this fits an editorial workflow

For CachePhoto, Seedance 2.5 makes sense as a fast lab: visual article prototypes, short-form social treatments and shot tests before spending real editing time. The practical rule is to iterate cheap, lock the visual direction and save expensive generations for the cut that already has intent.

My take is that if you are looking at it as a professional tool, today is not the day. We are still talking about 720p generations. What you could do is work in Seedance 2.0, or work in Seedance 2.5 and then upscale or regenerate in Seedance 2.0. In a few months we may see the upgrade that lets it generate in 1080p and 4K; for now, this is a moment for experimentation or for specific social content. For cinema, we are still far away.
