In LATAM almost nobody gets to try a camera before buying it — the decision is made reading reviews from other markets. With the original material on your own timeline the story changes: you push it in your Resolve, on your monitor, in your pipeline, and the conclusion is yours, not mine.

My take is the same one I put in the review: don’t look for the magic in post, look at the real footage. The a7V’s S-Log3 holds more in the shadows than I expected, and rolling shutter is the question I get asked most — that’s why I included takes designed to stress it. Draw your own conclusions.
