DIT — 2-week documentary shoot Yucatán
Environmental documentary in Yucatán and Quintana Roo. 2 weeks of exterior shooting. Sony FX6 + a7S III. We need a DIT with a real redundant backup flow and on-set color management.
Environmental documentary about reef and mangrove. 14 continuous days of shooting in remote locations (some days without stable power). Serious production, with schedule and permits.
DIT responsibilities:
- Real redundant on-set backup (3-2-1: original + 2 copies on physically distinct drives). If your flow is “I copy to a single SSD,” don’t apply.
- Checksum verification (Shotput, Silverstack, or Offload). Daily report.
- Viewing LUT setup matching the look discussed with the DP.
- Daily coverage reports for production.
- Cloud backup when connectivity allows (not every day).
Main gear:
- Sony FX6 (A camera) + Sony a7S III (B camera and aerial via drone).
- Sony G Master series zoom lenses.
- DIT cart yours or we rent — coordinate with production.
Compensation: documentary day rate + full per diem (lodging, local travel, and food). Travel from CDMX or Mérida covered. Credit as DIT in titles.
