Junior colorist — post house CDMX (Polanco)
Post house in Polanco looking for a junior colorist with a solid foundation in scene-referred workflow. Commercials and music video. DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel available.
Full-time staff position at a post house in Polanco. Main work: national commercials, music video, and some festival features.
Looking for a junior colorist who already understands:
- Scene-referred vs display-referred flow. If you only know one, it’s not the time.
- Handling S-Log3, Log-C, V-Log, and RED IPP2 with their respective input transforms.
- Building a grade node by node: balance → look → power windows → qualifiers.
- Communicating with DPs and directors. This is 70% craft and 30% knowing what to tell a client so they decide.
Available gear:
- 2× suites with DaVinci Resolve Studio and Advanced Panel.
- Calibrated reference monitor (Sony BVM-HX310).
- Client review space.
Compensation: fixed monthly salary + project bonus. Full benefits per Mexican labor law (IMSS, vacation, year-end bonus). Path to senior in 18-24 months based on performance.
